[ 05 ]

COOKIES & BROWSER STORAGE

Cookies are small files saved on your device. We also use your browser’s local storage, which works similarly. We use them in three ways:

  • Essential: keep your cart, checkout and security working. For example, our site remembers your cart and any unlocked early-access status in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device.
  • Analytics: help us see which pages are used so we can improve them. [ UPDATE: list your real tools ]
  • Marketing: only if we run ads or retargeting. [ UPDATE or delete this line ]

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Essential items are needed for checkout, so blocking them may stop the cart from working. Non-essential cookies will only be used where you have agreed to them.

[ 06 ]

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

  • Order and invoice records: usually [ UPDATE: e.g. 8 years ] to meet tax and accounting rules.
  • Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
  • Support messages: [ UPDATE: e.g. 24 months ] after the issue is resolved.
  • Analytics data: as set by the analytics tool, typically in anonymised or aggregated form.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

[ 07 ]

KEEPING IT SAFE

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including secure (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to customer data and trusted payment and hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t promise absolute security. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Please keep your account password private and use a strong, unique one.

[ 08 ]
